DIY Scent Studio is a recreational concept and leisure experience unlike any other. We guide you through the ins-and-outs of creating your own perfumes/colognes to explore this ancient and unique art form.

The "Noses" behind DIY SCENT:
DIY SCENT was created in 2016 by Perfumer, Sherry Meredith. Sherry's interest in the olfactory senses stem from travels to India in the 1970s, where she studied botanical medicine. 30 years later, Sherry traveled to the world's perfume cauldron: Grasse, France. Following in-depth workshops in Grasse, she studied in a prestigious Atelier course in Berkeley, California and more recently, a Natural Perfumery Workshop near Rimini, Italy. Sherry currently spends her free time at her perfume organ creating new scents while expanding on her scientific knowledge of scent.

Sherry's daughter, Gretchen Buckingham is DIY Scent's behind-the-scenes Perfumerist. Her interest in Perfumery also stems from worldwide travel and Perfumery training in Grasse, France and Coriano, Italy. Gretchen is a professional musician/composer who also runs another local business (www.scmusicarts.com). She finds the parallels of scent and music fascinating... In her creative studio, she composes both music and scent for an inspiring fusion of the senses. At DIY Scent Studio, she enjoys assisting clients in their olfactory compositions.
